Job Description
- Propose and review Company compensation strategy and policy in line with Regional policies and government regulations to ensure its effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance
- Review and enhance salary structure based on market data, including creating different structures for different job families and different areas to ensure market competitiveness is achieved accurately and in sufficient details
- Review salary offers for new hires to attract new talents while maintaining internal equity and manpower cost
- Review mid-year and year-end merit increases and promotion salary increases based on government regulations, Company budgets, and Company & employee performance to attract talents effectively and efficiently
- Work with relevant departments to educate, communicate, and share compensation knowledge either internally to HR or externally with other employees to increase their understanding of Company compensation practices
- Conduct regular benefit reviews and extensions on benefit practices (e.g. medical benefit renewal) and manage benefit implementation in order to provide great benefit services to employees
- Gather employee’s needs and feedback to understand their concerns on Company benefit implementations
- Consolidate new hire salary and salary changes for the Payroll process in order to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of salary-related new entries or changes
- Check non-salary payroll data to ensure payroll accuracy
- Request and check consolidated payroll calculation from payroll vendor to ensure payroll accuracy
- Review and improve the payroll process to continuously make it more effective and efficient
Requirements
- Preferably 5+ years of working experience in Compensation & Benefits
- Having knowledge and experience in compensation modeling, market data, and salary survey methodologies
- Familiar with Government Regulations in Compensation & Benefits
- Analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, innovative problem-solving and decision making
- High level of self-motivation and independent thinking
- Good interpersonal, strong leadership, and communication skills.
