Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, business or related area
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Human Resource department
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- People oriented and results driven
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with the human resources information system (HRIS) such as Workday, Zoho People, Cloud HR, Smart Recruiters and others
- Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations
- Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork
- Experience with analyzing data to guide strategic employment planning and demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Meticulous attention to details
Responsibilities
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
- Ensure all company Human Resource policies are applied consistently
- Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
- Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
- Maintain Human Resource systems and processes
- Conduct performance and salary reviews
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
